Description The Honeywell 8680i Wearable Mini Mobile Computer is a compact, hands-free scanning device designed to boost productivity in high-volume workflows such as picking, sorting, putaway, and packing. Worn on the hand, it allows users to keep both hands free while scanning 1D and 2D barcodes, including GS1 DataBar, with an omni-directional area imager. The device offers Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, with an Advanced model adding Wi-Fi for standalone operation. Lightweight and ergonomic, it can be worn as a finger-mounted ring or on the back of the hand, and its rugged design withstands drops, tumbles, and is IP54-rated for dust and water resistance. Battery options include a slim version for lighter use and an extended version for longer shifts, while the Advanced model features a customizable display and SDK support for application development.
