Description The Axis S3016 Recorder is a high-performance 1U rack-mounted network video recorder (NVR) designed for scalable surveillance solutions. It integrates a 16-port Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, capable of delivering up to 305W of power, supporting up to 16 connected devices. The recorder is available in three storage configurations: 8 TB, 16 TB, and 32 TB, utilizing surveillance-grade hard drives with support for various RAID levels to ensure data redundancy and reliability. Equipped with a 2.5 Gbps SFP uplink port, it facilitates high-speed data transfer for ultra-high-definition video recordings. Security is enhanced through the inclusion of a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, enabling encrypted recordings and secure remote access via Axis Secure Remote Access. The device also features a USB 3.0 port for easy export of video footage and is compatible with AXIS Camera Station Edge VMS for seamless integration and management. AXIS S3016 16 TB Recorder is a 1U rack recorder with an integrated PoE switch and high power budget for up to 16 devices and a maximum of PoE class 4 per port. It provides reliable recording thanks to the four surveillance-grade hard drives and different RAID levels. This high-performance recorder offers a gigabit switch for connecting network devices and a 2.5 gigabit uplink for video recordings in ultra-high definition and INCLUDES a 5-year warranty. The recorder can be used in single-site, multi-site systems and for expanding storage and network in existing systems. It is compatible with both AXIS Companion as well as AXIS Camera Station video management software and mobile app. AXIS S3016 can be installed in server racks with a post-to-post distance between 376mm (14.8in) and 499mm (19.6in). For deeper server racks, AXIS TS3901 Rail Extensions can be used when the post-to-post distance is between 499mm (19.6in) and 689mm (27.1in).
